Cool things #25: Giving it away

Over the weekend a bunch of my gmail-using friends were hacked and spam was sent from their account. Then today I came across this visualization: World's Biggest Data Breaches

A great post about a solution to constantly being asked for advice or coffee meetings:
Tweets and emails become requests to “pick your brain” or for “a quick coffee meeting” and increase until they’re frequent enough to be a full-time job.
A full-time, unpaid job.

I came across the above post on potluck.it, which you should check out if you're into social networks, sharing ideas, and gifs of corgi butts.

I'm heading off the grid for a week on Saturday, so I won't be writing a cool things email. If anyone else wants to start a chain, go for it!
